What this means

TikTok is conducting a review of your seller account, typically triggered by a spike in complaints, a flagged listing, or a routine compliance check. During review, some store functions may be limited but your existing listings usually remain visible. This is not the same as a suspension.

Common causes

  • A customer complaint or high return rate triggered an automated review
  • A new product listing was flagged by TikTok's content review system
  • Your account is new and undergoing standard seller verification
  • A policy update changed the compliance status of one of your existing listings
  • You recently changed key account details (bank account, business name, address)

How to fix it

Do not make major changes during the review

Editing listings, changing shipping settings, or updating account details during a review can extend the review period. Hold off on non-urgent changes until the review closes.

Check Seller Center notifications and email

TikTok will specify if any action is required from you. If there are document requests or specific items to address, respond to those first.

Respond promptly to document requests

If TikTok's seller support team requests verification documents — business registration, ID, product invoices — respond within 48 hours. Delays in responding extend the review.

Contact Seller Center support if the review exceeds 7 business days

Reference your review ticket number when contacting support. Escalating too early can slow things down, but a review with no update after 7 business days warrants follow-up.

Continue fulfilling existing orders normally

Order processing is not affected by a standard review. Fulfilling orders on time during the review period is good practice and supports your AHR score.

Account health impact

A store review itself does not affect your AHR score. However, if the review uncovers a policy violation, the resulting action may impact your score.
