1. Who we are

Kalibratr (“we”, “us”, “our”) is a video analysis tool that helps creators score their TikTok videos before posting. We are operated by an independent developer and can be reached at jakejmanley@gmail.com.

2. What we collect

• Account info: Your email address when you sign up.
• Videos you upload: Files are processed temporarily to extract metadata (duration, resolution, scene changes). They are not stored long-term on our servers.
• Audit results: The score and analysis output are stored in your account so you can review past audits.
• Usage data: How many audits you've run this month, your selected niche, and your subscription tier.
• Payment data: Handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.

3. How we use your data

• To provide the video scoring service
• To track your monthly usage against your plan limits
• To display your audit history in your dashboard
• To process subscription payments via Stripe
• To send transactional emails (account confirmation, password reset)

We do not sell your data. We do not use your videos to train AI models.

4. Video files

Uploaded videos are processed in memory or in temporary server storage solely to extract technical signals (frame rate, duration, scene cuts, OCR of the first frame caption). Files are not permanently stored and are not shared with third parties. Audit results (scores and text feedback) are retained in your account until you delete them or close your account.

5. Third-party services

• Supabase — database and authentication (hosted in the US)
• Stripe — payment processing
• Vercel — hosting and server-side processing

Each provider has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data.

6. Cookies

We use only essential cookies required for authentication (session tokens managed by Supabase). We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies.

7. Data retention

Your account data is retained for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing us. Audit results are deleted when your account is deleted.

8. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Object to or restrict certain processing

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product evolves. If we make material changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of Kalibratr after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
