Your commission rate is below the minimum threshold

What this means

TikTok requires a minimum affiliate commission rate for products listed in the affiliate marketplace. If your rate falls below this threshold, the product is automatically removed from affiliate discovery and creators cannot earn commission by promoting it.

Common causes

  • TikTok increased its minimum commission requirement and existing listings were not updated
  • The commission rate was set manually at a rate below the current platform minimum (typically 1–5% depending on category)
  • A bulk listing import set all products to the same low default rate
  • The product's price was increased without adjusting the commission amount, pushing the effective rate below minimum

How to fix it

1

Check the current minimum rate for your category

Go to Seller Center → My Products → Affiliate Settings. The minimum varies by category and TikTok updates it periodically — confirm the current threshold before making changes.

2

Update the commission rate

Set it to at least the platform minimum — but ideally 8–12% to actually attract creators. A rate at the bare minimum will make your product technically eligible but practically invisible to motivated affiliates.

3

Use Batch Edit for multiple listings

In Seller Center, use the Batch Edit function to update commission rates across multiple listings at once instead of editing each product individually.

4

Allow 24 hours for the product to reappear in the affiliate marketplace

After updating, the product won't reappear instantly. Give it up to 24 hours before checking affiliate marketplace visibility.

Account health impact

Having products below the commission minimum does not affect your AHR score, but it means your products receive zero affiliate promotion until corrected.
